if the issues are with the installer not working, make sure you are getting the files from us as they are verified to work, there are a few websites with bad copies so get RDP here! The Blinking underscore issue is noted when the system waits too long to emulate the F8 button. Solution is to re-install RDP and deselect the ['automatically start ReadyDriver boot menu after 3 seconds'] option, (Thanks to bitaris) for solving the issue. The boot.bin can not be found or is corrupt. Issue is simple, at boot time, Vista cannot find \BOOT\ ( a folder containing the RDP data files located on C:\ ) this is usually caused by more than one drive or more than one partition. It can be solved by locating with drive Vista is accessing as C:\ ( probably the first partition on the first drive ) and placing a copy of \boot\ there. or by trial and error such as copying \boot\ to each drive and removing one at a time until the proper one is found. Please use the Search Function, Alot of Times People ask a question without even scrolling down to see if some one else has. Known Issues: ~ RDP Does not work with GRUB, there seems to be no current fix for this yet. ~ GUI boot causes some issues, Disabling GUI boot may fix the issue. ~ Un-installation can be found in the control panel, or EasyBCD can also remove RDP. if you can't find anything, Post away! Any Technical Information you can provide while asking for help would be useful, such as, but not limited to: Which Architecture of Vista your using Which Service Pack Which Version of ReadyDriver Plus If/witch Version of BitLocker your using ( Or Encryption ) Things like this could help us figure out whats wrong and solve the problem. |

Also, GRUB is not supported as the main bootloader. If you want to use GRUB to load another os, while using ReadyDriver Plus, do not load in the MBR. A good guide to do this is here http://port25.technet.com/archive/2006/10/13/Using-Vista_2700_s-Boot-Manager-to-Boot-Linux-and-Dual-Booting-with-BitLocker-Protection-with-TPM-Support.aspx Also, please state the number of bootloader entries and if bitlocker is used. Thanks. |

Another problem has come to our attention. If ReadyDriver Plus starts Windows normally (doesn't move up after the simulated F8), make sure you have the GUI Boot feature disabled. It has been known to cause problems with other users. |
